I tire of this ship, its crew, and its... holidays. I have no use for these toys. What is the meaning of this?
And is there nowhere I can have a proper spar? Settle for the bees again, if nothing else...
Hmnf.
[The comm clicks off. If anyone is so inclined, the weapons master can be found down in the caves, brooding, and occasionally slamming a fist or two into the walls.
As for his squeaky whale, it has been deposited safely in front of a certain medical officer's door without so much as a word on the subject.]

... [And you have all of his attention.] How much risk? And is it currently in use?
[Audio]
Well it is known as Deathrace, which I should say is self-explanatory. Wrecks seem to be more common the higher the difficulty, which becomes more dangerous depending on the track as well, so in some ways that may be less of a race and more an exercise in maneuverability. [Which sounds like a good idea.]
[Audio]
[There's a pause. And the smirk he's suddenly wearing is likely audible.] "Deathrace". Interesting... I begin to enjoy the sound of this "Deathrace". And my maneuverability could use work...
[Audio]
[Oh, good, Blurr hoped that would be the case.] I'm glad to hear that, Ironhide. Actually, from the setup of that particular level of difficulty, it seems designed for two or more racers and I was hoping to try it out myself. I've been testing my speed enough, I'm more concerned about being able to avoid obstacles and attacks and traps than any of that.
[Audio]
Two or more, hmn...? [A rather dark sort of chuckle there.] You may have a challenger for this deathrace, Blurr. Though, I will warn you now. I do not go around obstacles, or attacks. I go through.
You, as the humans say, are on.
[Audio]
[Well, it sounds like Blurr is on the move now! Give him just a cycle.]
It doesn't look as if the track is in use at the moment, if you'd like to get down here now. Your warning is heard and understood and I can assure you it won't be a problem.
[Audio]
[... It might take him a little longer than that, but he's on his way!]
En route. And we shall see about that. Need more than speed to take me down.
[Audio]
[Waiting patiently!]
[Action!]
go-kart of deathtiny!Topkick rolls up. And then transforms. Considering he was fighting a couple people before this, and punching a wall, he's more dinged up than usual... if it's at all possible to tell.]You wanted a deathrace?
[Action!]
And I'm fully prepared for one whenever you're ready, Ironhide. There is a cityscape, but if we want a more hazardous track then there is also one set around a volcano which would be more unusual but I thought might be worth mentioning.
[Action!]
I am always ready. [Some joint pops. Likely in his neck. How that's possible for an Autobot is unclear.] Set it to this volcano. I am curious.
[Action!]
After a moment of fast button-pressing, Blurr steps back.] And done! [And now he's darting in. Because always ready or not, he's going to beat you at being first. 8)]
[Action!]
He reaches to grab Blurr as he runs past, but, the 'bot is fast. So, with a grunt, he stomps in after him, muttering something about Corvettes.]
[Action!]
And inside the racing arena, there is in fact a volcano. A volcano and lava, that's already around the track, and probably a bad idea to drive into. Blurr is already waiting at the starting line, apparently unconcerned with all of this, and tosses over a smirk.]
I'd get into position if I were you, it should start automatically counting down-- [Aaaand transform!]
[Action!]
That... is a large volcano. And a lot... of lava. Things are looking up already! He rolls his shoulders, stomping up next to him.]
I do not want to see you whine when you lose.
[Transform! \o/]
[Action!]
[AND THE COUNTDOWN? Three... two... one -- and they're off. From the way Blurr tears out, he too is thinking that this was an awesome idea.]
[Action!]
Still, the mini!Topkick roars off after him, perhaps running closer to the lava than he should be. This doesn't seem so bad.]
[Action!]
And it doesn't help that he's had to slow down a bit. Something's apparently on fire, and not far down the track, things are starting to get concealed by smoke.]
[Action!]
Except that now his visual fields were compromised. He didn't slow, just continued forward, scanning for any sign of his opponent and any traps.]
[Action! that took forever 8|]
Being in robot mode is probably quieter, but after a moment he transforms back into vehicle mode and tears off, trying to see if he can get out of range of the smoke. If they could spot what the triggers looked like then they could start setting off traps on purpose.]
[Action! this took forever too :|]
And the he's off again, wavering slightly. His retreat was painful on already damaged interior components. Something shifts as he drives by--a lever? A button?
But there's little time to think as, suddenly, the smoke and heat gets worse.]
