16th Transmission - Video

[The video feed opens on Ironhide, looming large... and standing fully upright, in the keep's courtyard.]

[There appears to be a small tree, ripped from the woods themselves, and planted in the ground -- or propped up, it's hard to tell which. Either way, the old Autobot is watching it with an even stare.]

[And without warning, he kicks the tree, savagely, the motion accompanied by a rev of a massive engine. The tree shatters in an explosion of splinters and wood chips.]

[He draws himself up, and snorts.]

Yeah. Hip works all right. This will do.

[Despite having become somewhat used at not being as tall as he should be, Jetfire lost well over twenty feet, and that's a rather substantial loss of height, and... no, he's not used enough to it to make him as naturally graceful as he was, even at his actual height.]

[Those hands, he knows, can't be allowed to finish what they're doing; oh, he's unlikely to be able to completely stop Ironhide, but maybe he doesn't need to. Jetfire just uses the leg he's already got out to attempt to hook it around Ironhide's, to get the 'bot off balance and maybe be able to regain his own as he tries to use his momentum to swing around and away from Ironhide's frame and those hands.]

[Considering the strength of those blows, Jetfire is glad that he's merely been downsized; there's been no appreciable change in his armour, and that means he can handle them. It doesn't mean, however, that he won't stagger due to them.]

[Sorry, Ironhide, he might not be the best at hand-to-hand, but he's not going down with you. Jetfire's thrusters fire, and he wedges an arm between the both of them, the edge of his fist glancing off Ironhide's jaw, attempting to make Ironhide let go even as he lifts from the ground to avoid going down with the mech.]
