WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, DECEPTICON!
[Yes, it's Shockwave's voice, but it's doubtful anyone has ever heard him... shout like that... before. He's more composed than this, right?]

Then perhaps the futility? After all, I would still be here once you returned from the brig, no matter what you do to me.
What use would there be in me lying? There is no key information to be had save why we are here, the goods are free for the taking, and there is certainly no point in getting into a position to stab anyone in the back. Point in fact, the Autobots seem perfectly fine with coexisting with me - barring you, of course.

Futility? What futility? I would have still gotten in at least three good hits on you. [Smug!]
[... but then he just growls.] Then perhaps they have less reason to hate you as much as I do.
no subject
Or perhaps they realize that I am not the Decepticon they know, just as they are not the 'bots I am familar with.

Your kind are all the same to me. Murdering cowards.
no subject
You should be careful making that kind of assumption.
no subject
I see no reason to be.

Considering that there are five of us here that hail from three different versions of Cybertron, it is not a stretch to think that there are more. Maybe even a few where our positions are well and truly reversed, hm?
"Reversed"? Oh Shattered Glass, you glorious brainbreak...
And in all three, your kind is the same. A Cybertron where Decepticons remember their place is impossible.
It's so magnificent but you go 'omgwtfbbq?!' all at the same time...
How backhanded of you. Nothing is impossible. Not even the Autobots being the 'monsters'.
The only universe in which Starscream is a decent creature...
... Yes it is.
And Optimus is entertainingly (creepily?) psychotic...
To offer a comparison, before meeting your bunch, I had thought that the destruction of Cybertron was impossible. I was proven woefully wrong.
sdfhsfds We have one at Axiomnexus oh dear LORD the creepy.
... [looks away, pointedly] Drop that subject, Decepticon.
I have noticed and it looks hilariously freaky.
I am. I was simply making a point.
IT'S TERRIFYING.
... That is a point that needs to never be made. I already know.
I'd think so!
I realize you do, though you seem... unwilling to extend it as far as it could go.

I am a stubborn old fool. [keeps his "eye" on the floor--not afraid to look at Shockwave, just thinking about something. Too much.]
no subject
[He hushes his tone a little] It does not have to be so.
no subject
[Glares at him, briefly] That is who I am.
no subject
Was it always? [He isn't trying to goad Ironhide this time, just make him think. Eventually, anyway.]
no subject
[Shrug] Does it matter?
no subject
Of course. Cybertronians change; our personalities may be a series of programs and sub-routines, but that does not mean they're static.
no subject
So. What does it matter if I have changed or not?
no subject
It means there is a chance to continue changing. Even older models can learn new techniques, you could say.
no subject
... I do not want to change.
no subject
Of course. The decision is always yours.
