[The voice on the comm isn't the same as it usually is. The grating tone is gone, it's much smoother, and lacks the formal phrasing. But he still sounds vaguely British]

Perhaps with some explanation of why we have been deported to this pit-forsaken place.

Optimus is the leader of the science division. Of course, I doubt a military grunt would know anything of that nature.

Only fools who cannot keep themselves out of the line of fire opt for that upgrade - If only they had shorted out that ego of yours in the process. It might keep you alive longer.

No, I am quite happy to complain about stupidity while you are protecting us as well. There are intelligent soldiers, and there are hot-headed upstarts who will not function long enough to receive their next upgrade. Do at least try to pretend you are the former.

I'm intelligent. Just not like some dirt-scraping, can't carry a rifle, civilian. Different kind of smart--not that you'd know anything about it.

The difference being I do not wish to carry a rifle. Violence is not a part of my programming, not that you would know anything about that.

It is only those who cannot create that destroy. I doubt you are good for much else.
