I tire of this ship, its crew, and its... holidays. I have no use for these toys. What is the meaning of this?

And is there nowhere I can have a proper spar? Settle for the bees again, if nothing else...

[The comm clicks off. If anyone is so inclined, the weapons master can be found down in the caves, brooding, and occasionally slamming a fist or two into the walls.

As for his squeaky whale, it has been deposited safely in front of a certain medical officer's door without so much as a word on the subject.]

Then again, caves make sense. That's where they'd found the fish, wasn't it? So that's where she goes. The flower field won't matter to him, it doesn't hold the significance to him as it did Mikaela.

[His back is to the entrance. And there's some cracks in the wall nearby. He doesn't seem to notice her come in.]

I don't care if you don't like him. I know he's a 'Con, I know he represents everything you hate and despise. I get it. Everyone gets it. You're gonna disagree 'n fight. Whatever. I can't do anything about it, and 'm not asking you to just let it go.

But provoking him and forcing him to admit something I already knew over an open comm is seriously out of line!

[He still doesn't say anything for a while. And when he does, his voice is still quiet.]

[He slowly turns his head to look at her, expression dull. His shoulders hunch in slightly.]

[There's a pause, and an intake of air.]

[Her expression is one of frustration and growing rage.]

What, so you're gonna continue the war on the boat? Probably get people caught or hurt in the crossfire again, like me and Sam did? Is that what you want? You wanna keep fighting?

[She hisses, her face going bright red.]

That's different and you know it. He never lied to me about that, it was never brought up.

[He just looks at her, not moving.]
