...

What... Hmn.

If... one... were keeping... a creature... hypothetically. How... would one... keep it functional?

[Grumbles to himself for a minute - the words aren't distinguishable, but it's obvious he's just... annoyed he has to ask this question, and eager to move on to another topic.]

I was informed that if we have something... broken... in our rooms... we were to report it. I am reporting it.

Someone repair this thing before I trip over it. Again.

[Another pause]

Mikaela. You all right?

What are you keeping now?

Yeah. Fine.

[identity profile] chopshopgoddess.livejournal.com 2009-10-19 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Why are you lying to me?

I'm fine.

[identity profile] chopshopgoddess.livejournal.com 2009-10-19 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
...Frog or fish?

I'm not!

Ah! You do have a fish fetish!

I don't know what you mean. I've...talked to 'Rea.

[identity profile] chopshopgoddess.livejournal.com 2009-10-19 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course you don't.

[He's fun to tease 8)]

Um...I dunno. I don't...keep track.

[identity profile] tldriving.livejournal.com 2009-10-20 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
That would depend on what kind of creature you're trying to keep functioning. Is it one of those organic frogs the crew takes in exchange for questions?

[identity profile] tldriving.livejournal.com 2009-10-20 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
If it's a marine organic then it will need to live in water of course, have room to move and be refueled regularly with things that it can consume, but I'm certain one of the humans on board could give you much more useful information. How did you wind up with one of those, anyway?

[identity profile] tldriving.livejournal.com 2009-10-20 06:41 am (UTC)(link)
That's good; it will probably do fine if she assists you at first.

[Because he's a curious little speedster 8|]

You were in the lake for some reason?

[identity profile] tldriving.livejournal.com 2009-10-20 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
I'm... not exactly certain what that means.

[Blurr is not the most help. But at least he's not going to assume that they have a fish fetish.]

That sounds unpleasant, I hope it wasn't difficult to get back out?

So you still have the fish in your quarters? I had wondered what happened to it, when you 'dealt' with it...

[identity profile] medicalofficer.livejournal.com 2009-10-20 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, that is an excellent idea. I am glad to know you have it taken care of.

[identity profile] medicalofficer.livejournal.com 2009-10-20 09:00 am (UTC)(link)
I would. It would be nice to take a closer look at it before we release it - And I would not think that either of us will be quick to return to that cave.

[identity profile] medicalofficer.livejournal.com 2009-10-21 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
I will leave it there for the moment, until I establish a similar arrangement for the creature. I have been leaving C4 in that room, as it seems to have the smoothest surfaces for him... However, I do not know how they will fare together.

Well, I will go back alone, so that I might return it to its proper habitat.
