I begin to loathe this boat nearly as much as aircraft... Going to rust in all this... damp.

Need something to keep from stiffening up. Some sort of exercise... Only so many times I can drive around these decks. Unlike some, I do not enjoy poking holes in turf, or studying these yellow creatures all day.

Hmnf.

Open to... suggestion.

I had noticed before. Simply reiterating...

[He's too busy inspecting one of the walls to notice that attitude, Ironhide. :|]

I was interested before.

[He's going to wander deeper, because none of the cool scientific findings were ever near the entrance.]

Mmhmm... [Not really listening.]

Investigating.

[Water does not mean anything in the face of science.]

My alternate form is an all terrain vehicle, Ironhide. A small amount of water is not going to cause me to rust - I will be sure to take care of it when I am finished.

[Hands on the walls, feeling the rocky surfaces, looking for areas of interest. He wasn't really paying attention to the water's depth, as it seemed to be generally shallow.]

Hmm?

[He crouches lower to look at the wall, optics trained on the stone instead of his companion.]

[He straightens up at the noise, turning to see Ironhide's... interesting method of navigating the shallow water. The medic was amused to say the least, but he said nothing as he watched him move closer.]

Are you sure you do not want to wait where it is dry?

The floor is solid rock. It is much stronger than the furniture in your quarters, I'm sure.

You were the one who tripped, Ironhide.

[... Not that he remembers.]

Only once. And I might point out it was dark, in an unfamiliar area.

[He's heading in deeper, if you can keep up, 'Hide. XD]

Fortunately, we are on flat ground, so that won't be an issue.

... And I told you, I wanted to investigate.

Unless the entire lower decks are filled with water, where else would it lead?

... No. If it is all this depth, it will not be necessary.

There is nowhere else for the water to-

[He would have finished explaining that with the structure of the ship's decks, there was nowhere for a chasm to lead to - if he hadn't just stepped over the edge of one such hole.

Fortunately, it was only ten feet and not bottomless, but it was enough that the medic vanished from sight, with a sound of shock before he dipped below the murky surface.]
