[The video opens on Ratchet. Who looks exceedingly peeved. Moreso than those familiar with him may have ever seen him. In fact, he looks as if he'd very much like to rip his communicator in half.]

Whoever is in possession of my medic will inform me of his whereabouts. Immediately! Or I shall tear you apart!

Where has the captain put him! Answer me!

[... well. That's certainly not something Ratchet would ever say.]

It is? When did that happen...? [He sounds genuinely confused by this. He honestly hadn't noticed.] Just shut off the pain receptors. It works.

... All of these are essential? That is not possible!

Ironhide, I swear that once I have my welding equipment, I am going to attach you to the Medbay wall. Let me make something perfectly clear to you:

[You know that battlefield yell you pride yourself on? Have it back, dear.]

Turning off your pain receptors is not a replacement for repairs! It makes the damage worse, you thick-headed scrapheap!

... And yes, they are essential. Do not deactivate them.

...

[He startles at that - is he really that loud? - which inevitably throws off his suddenly unstable balancing systems and sends him pitching into a wall.]

Did you have to do that...? You could have just said it.

Apparently, simply saying it was not getting my point across.

And no, do not deactivate any of them. With our current run of luck, you'd be more likely to somehow activate one of the back-up scans instead.

[He just growls - which sounds... so weird coming out of this vocal processor.]

Back up scans? You have back up scans? Why do you have those?

... In order to obtain more in-depth data on a given situation or environment.

Can you at least shut them down... dampen them... something... manually? Where are you, anyway?

[He switches to audio and... transforms. What is this alt mode, Ratchet. Seriously.]

... We are getting you a new vehicle.

There is nothing wrong with my vehicle mode, Ironhide.

[And without further ado, he starts banging on the door. Open up!]

[It takes a moment, as Ratchet attempts to walk properly - and ends up limping the rest of the way to the door. He opens it, placing his hands on his hips with an irritable expression.]

My vehicle mode is perfectly suitable.

[Ironhide can only stare. He's never had a sense of his own size before. Not like this. He's just plain huge. Or Ratchet is small. Whichever. He completely disregards his friend's statement in favor of reaching out to give his body's scarred face an experimental touch.

This is so weird. The multitude of scans running over and through his sensors aren't helping anything either.]

... I was not aware I was so damaged. You should have told me.

[Ratchet twitched, drawing back slightly in surprise. His own frame was scarred, but certainly not as much as Ironhide's was - And he had very little idea of how sensitive the damaged plating could be.]

... I have told you on several occasions.

You should have been more convincing.

[The twitch makes him tilt his head, staring. Experimentally, he runs his fingers over another bit of damage--across one forearm, suddenly intrigued by how much more flexible Ratchet's joints are than his.]

I suddenly see why you are always so fascinated with your hands.

[He shakes his head, engine growling - It wasn't even intentional, so much as an automatic reaction from the larger shell.

Withdrawing again, he reaches to hold both of Ironhide's forearms still to stop him from distracting him further.]

And I see you are equally fascinated. But perhaps you should come inside before you decide to experiment with them.

[He starts. And then struggles a little. He's not used to being restrained - especially not by himself. By Ratchet. Whoever.]

This is not fair. You should... not be able to hold me...

[Of course, he's curious about this experimenting thing, but far be it from him to just give in.]

[Ignoring the struggling, Ratchet bodily lifts the other inside, testing the unusual abundance of strength Ironhide's frame possessed - It was bizarre, but some how... satisfying.]

I somehow doubt that the 'fairness' of your strength has ever been an issue before.

[This only prompts him to struggle more. No one has ever been able to lift him before. Not like this. There's an ineffective growl in his engine, his expression sulky.]

That was before you used it against me.

[Said as he digs his fingers into his body's forearms, to hold on.]

[Ratchet almost smiled at that, finally releasing him and closing the door behind him. The last thing they needed was for others to stumble across them in this state...]

I am sure that it will be back in your hands soon enough. For the moment, however, it is best we figure out how best to deal with this situation.

[He snorts, and stomps across the room, his back to the other. Apparently, he is determined to sulk. Even in this state.]

What do you mean "deal" with it? Nothing to deal with.

Ironhide, are you even aware of how many optical functions my frame possesses? That is not to mention the scanners, my center of balance, or armor density... If you are going to be using my body, it is best you know what to expect.

[He lifts his borrowed arm, flexing his fingers slowly.]

Just as I was clearly not informed of some of these damages.
