You can. You are stronger than you realize. [He doesn't move when Ironhide nearly lunges again, simply keeping his servo in place until Mikaela takes it. He looks straight at Ironhide, single optic practically blazing.]

[ His tone makes it clear that this is not a request as he closes the distance between them, keeping a close watch on the Weapons Specialist. He was already prepared to attack again, which would not do either side any good. ]

Shockwave is not responsible for what happened to her. You have had your battle - and now it is over.

[Whatever he was about to say is cut off. Not by Ratchet's command, but by Mikaela's actions. He stares openly at her, wobbling suddenly. It almost looks as if she's hit him again.

The fight has drained out of him. He half-turns away--can't do much more than that on the damaged limb. He does not look at anyone.]

[She can't. stop. shaking. She can feel herself trembling and she clenches her hands into fists on order to stop them from being so obvious.]

Ironhide...

[She takes a single step forward when he turns, her voice tiny. She's not sure what she's supposed to say or do, or think or feel. Part of her wants to just run away from this and forget it ever happened. Another part of her wants to run to Ironhide and fling her arms around him and burst into tears. The rest of her wants to stay right where she is, firmly planted in front of the Decepticon.]

[He quiets and watches the exchange, shifting one hoof back. He understands Mikaela's torn about this. If she wants to leave or go to Ironhide, he won't stop her.]

[ He stands quietly for a moment before holding an arm out to the other - He would not be walking far on his own, not on that hip. ]

[He only glances back at her. He knows she'd rather stay with her precious Decepticon. After all, she went to him when she was hurting...

He hobbles forward, pushing past Ratchet. Once they're in the hall, he'll accept help. But not now. His pride's wounded enough.]

[Mikaela's expression is hopeful when he glances back, but...but then he turns and continues on.

Her face just crumples when he leaves, and her fists tighten. She says absolutely nothing, and doesn't move an inch. She's afraid if she does, she'll burst into tears. She won't do it. Not this time.]
