when amara sees him, she figures... he's big. he's metal. reminds her a bit of the old hyperion bots, honestly, but not as shittily built. he's barely transformed before she's summoned her arms and flung herself at him.]

[she slams into his arms when he blocks with force that would probably shatter the bones in the body of a lesser human. as it is, amara just bounces back off-- three of her arms took most of the impact (being spectral, they have no bones to break or nerve endings to feel pain) and pushed her off. she rolls onto the grass, putting all eight of her dukes up while laughing delightedly.]

You're huge! Even the Constructors weren't this big!

[Honestly, Ironhide has to laugh, too. A tiny human, threatening him with glowing arms. It's ridiculous. Absurd. And he is fine with that.]

[He takes a step back, rolling his shoulders.]

[she has nothing to say to that -- maybe she would've commented that she'd like to see a big one, but it's lost in the moment. amara punches upward, a giant blue fist arcing with electricity forming in the air and aiming to slam into his jaw.]

[Wellp. His head snaps back, with a startled grunt. Then he's lashing right back out at her arm. To try and grab it. To wrestle her to the ground.]

[... you know. Somehow.]

[the blue spectral fist fades out when ironhide graps it, but amara hadn't expected him to go for it. people usually go for her, y'know? you get more cloud if you kill a siren. not that people usually can, but well. the people she fights are egotistical enough to think they can. or just crazy!

amara was bracing for impact from him, but the unexpected move throws her off and she stumbles. he's far too big for her to phasegrasp, so she takes the moment ironhide might need to sort himself out after the fist fades to digistruct her pistol into her hands and fire at him. it's nothing special, not a corrosive imbued weapon like she might use on a robot back home, but she's also not aiming to kill him, so.]

[Not trying to kill a human means striking at what looks least likely to completely smash their fragile human bones. Which... means the big glowing arm made of light, not meat.]

[It only makes her stagger. And he frowns, heavily. Before throwing his arm up to ward the pistol shots off his face. More vulnerable there. His other fist strikes downward -- not to hit her, but the ground nearby. To try and jar her off her shooting stance.]
