9th Transmission - Audio

[Ironhide's voice is all but completely obscured by the sound of whistling wind. He's likely shouting over the sound of it, straining to make himself audible.]

Keep out of the dirt town! Nothing but sand and wind here!

[A pause.]

And scrap metals!

[There's only wind for a while, as Ironhide begins to scan the area more closely.]

...

And corpses.

Fresh corpses or rotten ones?

[identity profile] fallintheriver.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
[Ping. You have his interest.]

How fresh are we talking?

[identity profile] fallintheriver.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
I'm curious. Doesn't sand do weird things to bodies?

[identity profile] fallintheriver.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
Well I was going to find out. I could tell you what happens, if you want.

[identity profile] fallintheriver.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
Why not? I bet the bodies turn to jerky all on their own. Can you imagine?

[identity profile] pimp-hat.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
Found a fresh one!

[Like Ironhide, Kevas is shouting just to be heard.]

[identity profile] pimp-hat.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
T'ink of it dis way mon! It could mean we be on da right track!

[Or that some idiot got lost in the desert and died.

Despite the difficulty of telling where anything is with all this sand whipping around, Kevas gives his location.]

[identity profile] pimp-hat.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
Know we be knowin' dat sometin' out here killed dese mons.

[identity profile] pimp-hat.livejournal.com 2011-04-12 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
[Kevas thinks for a moment. There's no telling what's killing these people, if there's only one, or just how dangerous it is. Any sort of evidence that remains is being destroyed by the coming sandstorm, but maybe this time they can end the problem before it even starts. No risk no reward.]

If we can, why not?

...

[Zack's staring at one right now. A skeleton that is.]

Think a storm got them?

[identity profile] thepuppyhero.livejournal.com 2011-04-13 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Stay out in a storm like this long enough and the wind could tear the skin right off a person's bones.

[He lets out a sigh.]

But I'm no expert. I can't tell if that's what did this.

[identity profile] thepuppyhero.livejournal.com 2011-04-13 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[He might be laughing at you. He might be not.]

Anyway, is there anything else out there?
