[Well. Anyone who was wondering where the hell Ironhide went off to, look no further for your answer. There are crashing sounds as the big Autobot tears his way out of the jungle. Underbrush is trampled, trees actually punched -- despite the fact that it doesn't really help matters.]

Where is that energon...

[He does sound displeased, more so than usual. Tramping around the jungle, getting stuck, and deprived of fuel for a long while doesn't do wonders for the old 'Bot's temper. And the rain isn't helping matters.]

I hate this place.

[Equestria is a place where pegasus schedule rainfall. Bizarre is just the tip of the iceberg.

Fluttershy tilts her head. The hole is difficult to recognize as an injury on Ironhide's inorganic body, and she can't see it clearly anyway.]

Are you sure you don't want me to look at anything else?

[She's SO very eager to help... but Ironhide is right, she's never seen anything quite like him, and her talent certainly doesn't lie with machinery. But she can sew.]

[He tilts his head right back, and then shifts, looking down at the hole with a scowl.]

You can look. But I doubt there is anything you can do for this.

[He'll give her a look. It won't really do any good, but it can't hurt anything either.]

[That would be condescending if she wasn't expressing deep dismay with such utter sincerity. With a flap of wings, she hovers up a few feet to get a better look.]

[He gets a bit tense when she draws near, but allows her to look at it. It's... a nasty hole. The armor is broken, and scorched around the edges of the hole, exposing inner layers and wiring.]

Hit by a missile strike. Before I was brought here.

[Of course, he says this like a normal person would say, 'the cat scratched me'.]

[Yeah, there aren't missiles in Ponyville. Battles are fought with unicorn magic. Or apple pies.

There's a chunk of Ironhide missing, and it needed to be replaced. But Fluttershy didn't have anything to replace it with, and she didn't have magic to fuse them together. Maybe if Rarity or Twilight Sparkle were here...]

I'm sorry, I don't have the magic to fix this.

Yeah. Missile strike...

[He trails off, and then scowls. After a second, he lifts a hand, to try and pantomime the path of a flying missile.]

Explosive device. Flies... like this. To hit a target... and...

[Now he tries to mime an explosion with his hands, pulling them further and further apart as he says -- ] Boom!

[Then he shrugs.]

You are a... an organic. Never expected you to be able to fix it.

[Fluttershy looks mildly pretty horrified, flinching at the description of an explosion.]

Oh dear, that sounds just awful.

Well - I'm so glad you're all right. I mean, that is, mostly all right.

[It doesn't seem to bother him too much, anyway. That's good, right?]

Don't worry, Ironhide. I'm sure someone can help you.

Not so bad. Survived it.

[Which is supposed to be reassuring. He's alive, after all. Therefore, it wasn't that bad. Really.]

[And, for a second, he just looks... sullen. It's been weird to be without his constant companion of millions of years.]
