Ohhh, right! I'll just grab some stuff, and--

[There's the telltale noise of Teenaged Boy Grabbing Things. Somehow, he doubts a mop would be helpful, but he grabs one anyways, as well as some rags, and a scouring pad before piling the whole of it into a bucket.]

- be on my way!

[It's the first time he's been in his pod for a while. The last few days of conflict have seen him completely isolated. He'd been out in the jungle, looking for a suitable tree from which to carve a keyblade. It wouldn't serve as a weapon but... maybe he'd give it to Terra when he was done. That seemed right somehow.

Anyways. Off he goes! In his perpetually hyperactive state, it doesn't take long for him to get to Ironhide's pod, and he knocks.]

[The old 'Bot is not, in fact, inside. He hasn't gone inside, as he doesn't quite believe he could possibly fit. Hearing the knock, however, he pokes his head around the side of the pod, identifying the visitor before announcing his presence.]

[Ventus peeks around the side of the pod and then comes fully into view. Look, Ironhide, he is armed.]

Hi!

[Cheery, one-handed wave.]

So, uh, what did you step on exactly?

[It's plants, right? That's organic.]

[Wow. The kid came prepared. Ironhide shrugs, and then flops down on the ground, lifting is foot to try and examine it himself.]

Hmn...

[He's only mildly successful.]

[What did you expect, seriously? Ventus throws himself wholeheartedly (lolpun) into everything he does! JUST WATCH HIM SLING ICE CREAM OKAY. He looks around for something to drag to prop up that offending foot. Log! Yes, excellent plan. Drag, drag.]

[He never knows what to expect with you kids. He watches the dragging without comment, except to quirk an optic ridge. All right. Whatever works.]

[He has a fairly good idea, though. Ironhide shifts his weight, resting his arms across his knees to study Ventus for a moment.]

Zuko thinks that if we find these crystals, he can get his abilities back. It's... hard, being without a part of us that makes us who we are, [he touches his hand to his chest. yeah, he gets it.] so I've been trying to help.

I'm glad, then! I guess, uh, 'evil chickens' are no match for you, huh?

[It was more like gloating, but hey, no need to bring that up directly.]

Find anything yet? Any sign of these... crystals?

[He shrugs.]

It was a chicken. I am many times its size. There was no contest.

Not yet. I'm not even sure where to begin looking. This would be easier if we had some dwarves.

[Who are the coolest thing ever, by the way, and apparently very good at finding shiny rocks?

[He eyes Ironhide's foot with some dubiousness. Is that a bit of feather?]

There's that, I guess.

[Small evil chicken is better than house-sized evil chicken, in his opinion. Especially when he is still sans keyblade.]

[This is quite possibly the grossest thing he's done in a while, but welp, here he goes! You're not ticklish, are you Ironhide? Scrub, scrub.]

I met some dwarves - seven of them, to be exact! - and they were really good at finding things like that. Rocks, crystals, jewels, you name it! They soooooort of thought I was a thief, though.

[HIS FIRST TIME MEETING PEOPLE ON ANOTHER WORLD and they tried to run away from him baw.]
