Well, there have been times where Redd saw fit to inflict some nonsense on me. Usually after I spoke with him and he and I didn't agree.

I am in my room. The door should still be open.

[The door will open for Ironhide, since he was invited. Phoenix is sitting on his bed, wearing only his boxers, and one arm is cuffed to a post. He's frustrated, but he'll be glad to see a friend. Especially this particular friend.]

[Phoenix flushes. It's one thing when such topics are brought up intentionally, but it's different when this wasn't at all part of his plan.]

[Ironhide just clamps his mouth shut, making the most disagreeable face that his facial structure is capable of making.]

[He pulls his arm away from the bedpost so there isn't any slack in the chain. Hopefully Ironhide can get a good grip.]

[He reaches for the chain, wrapping his hand around it... and pulls.]

[The chain does not break. The bed does not break. In fact, the bed starts to move when Ironhide pulls. Phoenix is just lucky Ironhide wrapped his hand around that chain before pulling, or he might have been victim as well.

Even so, Phoenix lets out a startled oath when the bed shifts beneath him.]

Precursors! Ironhide, what are you doing?

Breaking things.

[At least, that's what he's trying to do. The fact that absolutely nothing has happened just... boggles him. He stops. Gives is an experimental few tugs, and then tries again.]

... It should have worked by now.

[There's very little chain to play with, so some of those tugs accidentally pull Phoenix as well. He puts up with it, though, because he wants this damn thing off.]

Perhaps it's simply a matter of leverage. Try a different angle.

[Ironhide growls something about having leverage in his other body, dammit, but shifts position, trying to pull it up.]

[Again, the chain doesn't even show the slightest hint of strain. The bed, however, jerks up under Ironhide's pull. Phoenix instinctively grasps at the mattress with another startled sound.]

Then go get it.

[He gives it a few more experimental tugs, bracing one foot on the bed to try and help with this process.]

[Oh yes, of course. A saw could be considered a weapon. Phoenix curses under his breath.]

[With a growl of irritation, he rubs the bridge of his nose while Ironhide makes his next few attempts.]
