There is no reason to be so surly, Ironhide.

The room is safe from the current change in weather, and even then - I doubt a little rain will be enough to rust you.

Your armor will survive this - It is certainly a good enough make that it will not rust at the slightest precipitation.

[Lifting the umbrella, the nylon only managed to shield the top of his helm from the rain - both shoulders stuck out from beneath it. He'd likely need four or five of them to completely fit beneath.

But that didn't make the duck-patterned umbrella any less entertaining.]

Ah, but it could be useful all the same! Perhaps I could engineer a larger-scale one...

Fingernail polish contains an oil base. I separated it in a centrifuge and combined with a few bathroom supplies, it makes a tolerable improvised rustguard. It smells pretty foul, but that's not so bad, once it dries.
